The Friday "Soup Lunch" is a weekly lunchtime live music event that happens at the Pender Island Community Hall. It is funded and managed by Ptarmigan Arts.

Bookings are managed by The Soup Lunch Robot, an AI-assisted booking system, written from scratch (which is all AI driven these days) by Jonny Miller, the current Soup Lunch person. You'll always know when it's the robot reaching out.

Fill in your details below and we'll be in touch when there are open dates.

Short Notice

Community Gathering (Soup Lunch) Engagement Agreement

Ptarmigan Arts will pay the artist $125 (via e-Transfer, within about a week from your performance) for a one-hour live performance at Pender Community Hall (12–1pm). A Ptarmigan rep will arrive by 11:30am for setup and soundcheck. Acoustic or lower-volume performances are preferred; artists may bring their own gear or use the provided Fender Passport system with our on-site sound tech.

The artist agrees to allow photos, short video clips, and streaming/social links to be used for promotional purposes. This agreement applies to all future performances and can be cancelled by either party.

Your info is only used for Soup Lunch booking purposes and is never shared.
